#500: Mr Jonny Garrett – Founder of William Wood Watches.

Our #500 series explores the most stylish & interesting ways to spend £500 on menswear. This week, we spoke with Founder of William Wood Watches, Jonny Garrett.

Jonny is a proud Geordie and founder of William Wood Watches, a British, luxury, sustainable watch brand that upcycles fire fighting material into their watches. Jonny moved to London a few years ago and eventually followed his dream and founded a watch brand in honour of his late grandfather who was a decorated fire fighter for 25 years.

Selection 1 – Olive Barbour Wax Jacket
First of all, I’ve chosen an Olive Barbour Wax Jacket. I’m a big fan of Barbour and, being from Hexham, the link to the North East hasn’t escaped me.

My ‘go to’ jacket, especially when I head back home for visits. I often end up in the country side for walks with the family. I envisage my wardrobe will always house a Barbour jacket. Barbour’s outerwear is not only incredibly stylish, but exceptionally practical in it’s versatility. A timeless classic.
Pick 2 – Axel Arigato Dunk Sneaker

Next, I’ve gone for the Axel Arigato Dunk Sneaker. I’ve been looking for a new ‘go to’ everyday trainer for a little while now and the Axel Arigato provides the perfect minimalist feel I look for in the majority of my footwear purchases.

A classic silhouette and simplistic details complement ultimate comfort. Everyday style without complication.
