A New British Military Strap For The William Wood Watches Valiant Range.
A few weeks back we were so inspired by the efforts of the William Wood Watches team in their efforts to aid the Australian bushfires that we decided to set up our ‘Good deed feed’ series.
The British Watch brand have continued their charitable journey by recently raising £2,250 for the Fire Fighters Charity UK through the auction sale of a customised Red Valiant watch.
In addition to such noble acts of generosity, William Wood have just launched their new watch strap.
William Wood Watches Valiant Range – Military Fire Hose Straps
Taking watch owners one step closer to the front line.
The new repurposed, hand-cut straps are made from upcycled British Military fire hoses that have been donated by the British Armed Forces Defence Fire & Rescue Unit. This is William Wood’s first move into a new rescue service discipline.
Proudly embossed on the back with the statement ‘made from rescued materials’ and equipped with quick-release bars allowing you to change the look of your watch in seconds without any tools needed.
The strap itself has a 20mm lug width allowing you to fit the straps on a wide range of universal watches. The most special part of the Military straps is that each cut is completely unique with its own patina and story to tell. It takes watch owners one step closer to the front line.
William Wood have a vision to be the leading British sustainable luxury watch brand, with collections spanning numerous rescue service disciplines. Jonny (Founder of William Wood Watches) wants his grandfather’s story to be the link to selfless heroism no matter what uniform you wear.
The new straps have been paired with the White and Black watches from the new automatic William Wood Watches Valiant range. Customers have the freedom to choose their preference in terms of colour combinations. You can also choose from two world class automatic movement manufactures from Swiss Group ETA and Japan Group Seiko.
The price of the White or Black Watch with a Swiss Movement and the new Military Straps is £995 and £695 for the Japanese Seiko Movement.
