Good deed feed – Technical fabric specialists Private White VC lend their skills to the NHS.
A few weeks back we covered William Wood Watches on how they did their part for the Australian bushfires by auctioning one of their incredible Valiant Collection timepieces.
Fast forward to today and, as a society, we’re battling another crisis. Thankfully, British brands are gearing up to help the NHS with the coronavirus. Technical fabric specialists Private White VC are uniquely positioned, possessing an exceptionally skilled factory floor. to assist the medical industry.
We’re first and foremost an apparel and outerwear brand, and that means we specialise in technical fabrics which are particularly useful to medical professionals right now…
James Eden, CEO of Private White V.C.
Traditional outerwear experts, Private White have experience when called upon to help the nation. Not long after their founder, Private Jack White, took control of the Manchester factory he offered his skills towards the WWII effort assisting the RAF in producing waterproof parkas. More recently the brand made gas suits during the Gulf War for British service personnel and have previously been called upon to aid production of the Met Police uniform.
The adaptability of Private White V.C.’s workforce and factory is both impressive and admirable in times of need. Hats off to their staff and to British manufacturing!
