Jigsaw SS17 has landed. This season the theme behind the collection is surrealism, communicated with the distortion of colour, texture print and styling though a surrealist lens.
Clean lines, straight hems and V-neck lines make up a wardrobe of perfectly proportioned pieces where every cuff, collar and sleeve has been cut to precision. Piqués, fine textures, ribbed knits and colour blocking blend in soft shades of pearl, raspberry sorbet and ash pink against cooler tones of navy, sand and blue smoke.
Fabrications are lighter than ever. Cotton and linen blends, unlined constructions and summer’s hero: seersucker, an intricate weave engineered to form crinkles that create pockets of air, seen on bombers, shirts, pleat trousers and jackets.
As per previous collections, the tailoring pieces are strong, focusing on conventional colours with an on trend casual style – perfect for dressing down the navy blazer on linen trousers in summer.
