Pretty Green have released their AW15 capsule collection inspired by the late 1960’s Northern Soul scene, following on from their AW15 Ride Out campaign.
Fuelled by the upbeat sounds of Black American soul music and the fast tempo beats of Tamla Motown, the Northern Soul scene exploded with new dance moves and fashions that are brilliantly captured in the latest campaign video:[su_heading size=”16″ margin=”0″]”It’s a wonderful thing to photograph, because it’s an amazing scene, it really is.
People are so passionate and dedicated, they go week in week out.”[/su_heading]
The photography for the campaign was shot by legendary British art director Brian Cannon, best known for shooting Oasis & The Verve’s famous album covers including the iconic “Definitely Maybe” and “A Northern Soul”.

The range aims to capture the spirit of late 60’s Britain, with geometric patterns, paisley printed shirts (a collaboration with Liberty) and the iconic black power fist graphic which has been given a distinctly Pretty Green twist. We’ve pulled out a few of our favourite pieces including the classic paisley shirt along with the tipped knitted cardigan and polo below.
