Secret Cinema, the pioneers of immersive storytelling are back.  In partnership with Häagen- Dazs and Goodwood Motor Circuit, Secret Cinema introduce The Drive In.

Following on from the phenomenal success of Secret Sofa, Secret Cinema aim to wow audiences with their fully immersive cinematic Drive In experience.

The Drive In by Secret Cinema and Häagen-Daz

Hosted at one of our favourite venues, the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit, fans will travel from all over the country to catch their favourite film.

After such positive initial feedback, Secret Cinema and Häagen-Daz have announced new titles to run until the August bank holiday weekend. Classic masterpieces such as Die Hard and Star Wars compliment more recent box office sensation including JoJo Rabbit and Black Panther.

Family friendly flicks are also on offer to treat the kids to a truly unique movie adventure. Younger members of the family (and many of us adults of course) can enjoy Disney features such as Aladdin, Frozen and The Lion King.

The Drive In by Secret Cinema – What to expect

In true Secret Cinema style expect this to be a drive-in like no other. As always, the experience will revolve around the audience.  The excitement begins as soon as you buy a ticket. The audience is introduced to the wild and audacious Frankie and Johnny Starlight, who own the original travelling Drive In cinema. The pre-show online experience creates a narrative hub to introduce you to these host characters. There will also be tips on costume inspiration and car makeovers.

Each event will feature a 30 minute pre-screening performance. Frankie and Johnny will co-host a live broadcast via portable JBL speakers directly into your car. Here, they’ll get the party started with film inspired tunes in addition to interactive games. Dial into the pre-show Zoom party and where the most fun players will be up on the big screen.

The extended family of waiters and front of house team will be on hand to serve food from a specially-created menu inspired by the much-loved American Diner. The menu will feature Goodwood organic produce, and of course lots of ice-cream provided by headline partner Häagen-Dazs.
