These Islands, Breathtaking Portrait of Britain by Cereal

These Islands is the latest hardback book published by the biannual magazine CEREAL. The magazine has made a name for itself producing considered visual stories both online and in print, focusing on Travel, Art, Design & Style.

The book is a unique portrait of the British Isles, combining powerful landscape photography with English poetry & prose to tell a unique story about both urban and natural Britain.

‘Explore the peaks of Snowdonia, the shadows of Glen Coe, the rural idylls of the Lake District, and the windswept paths of the Wild Atlantic Way. Walk the historic streets of London, trace the elegant curves of Bath, and climb the gothic spires of Edinburgh. Cross to the Isle of Skye in the north, and sail to the Isles of Scilly in the south.’ Alongside the book was a short film showcasing the landscape of the British Isles, created as a visual complement.
